Wave file is from Mars Hill Church Southeast of Ottumwa
It was taken by me and the sound occured right after Brian and Jason closed the door after it had blown open from the wind. It was recorded on my Sony Video camcorder and I used a program called CoolEdit 2000 to enhance it by 10 decibels. The file is a Winrar file and is compressed for faster download. To get a free download of Winrar which is better then Winzip click here WINRAR DOWNLOAD and select Download from the dropdown menu.
Mars Hill wave 1.75MB
Wave file from Indian Nature Trail by Homestead, Iowa
This was taken late at night and recorded with my Sony Video Camcorder. You will hear researchers Bob and Diane talking about it. It is believed to be a recording of a drum being played. It is not enhanced and kind of hard to hear.
This next set of wave files are from a visit on vacation to a house in Kentucky which belongs to some friends. The quality is not the best due to window air conditioners running in the back ground. First one is what we think are footsteps coming upstairs and then going into bathroom. You can hear the squeek of the door opening and then something sounding like a medicine cap lid dropping on sink. In 2nd wave file you can hear the footsteps going back down the stairs. Both these sounds were recorded with a Sony CCD-TRV58 with infrared capibilites. Too bad camera was pointed in the wrong direction. The history behind the house is a man died from a heartattack downstairs by back door. Possibly he came upstairs to get medication?
These next EVP's were taken by Researcher Jenny at 13 steps. She recorded them with her camcorder while explaining the history of 13 steps to one of her friends. The second one I had the best luck with bringing the sound out with Cool Edit
